On the fact that the last time I wrote in this Journal was in 2006? Wow! Spooky! So I've just been clearing out the cobwebs and thinking, "Hey Scott! You love writing! Why not write something?" My lack of freetime this past semester prevented me from doing much of anything other than school work and school related activities, and now that my Christmas Break is coming to a close and I'm starting to embark upon a semester where my workload will be nearly doubled...the outlook for sitting down fingers to keyboard (The saying pen to paper is just seems so dead...) is looking mighty grim. I once was so bored in my religion class this past semester that I filled three pages of notebook paper with a story, disregarding most standard English writing conventions, namely paragraphs, and just put pen to paper and wrote. It felt so good to just write! (I guess that expression isn't dead as I thought it was when I wrote it 4 lines ago...) So I feel like in my free time I might start some kind of project!? Do I know what it is? No. Do I even know if it will ever get done? Not a clue. But I do know I just want to work on something...A story, a play...anything...And when I do I'll be sure to post it here first. Not that I have anyone flocking to my page as though it were a goldmine or anything. But to finish something and have that sense of accomplishment will be kind of great. So for anyone who percance reads this blog-I didn't die! (Yay!) And you may see a little something from me...probably not soon...But sometime!
